What has this tri-y header done on a ITB 2.0L VE setup? Answer that question, then it will be relevant because in my eyes I would take the ASP budget header over the tri-y. Budget header made 260whp, so it's proven. Also, I would take the triple stepped over both of those.

B18 tri -y its triple stepped
Big tube B18 tri y is better but more expensive
I bet that the B18 big tube will kill the ASP budget!!
B18 regular tube its pretty similar to ASP budget but B18 its triple stepped

^So are we talking about 2 different headers now? What is the header from post #289 because everything that I have said is talking about that one.

On this 2.0L motor the ASP budget header made more peak than the small tube tri-y (will find graph later)

2.0L
12.5:1
Ported N1 mani
Budget header
232whp
Revving to 9500rpm

Will have a big tube tri-y to test it against in January.

^Thank you sir for pointing out the whole reason behind me even saying anything. No hate at all, just wanted an answer to a simple question of how the tri-y would do in a ITB setup.

I know why its that!!
Just a choke change!!
we found that the small tube choke is under 2.25in and the 2.0L like 2.25 better than 2.0in choke
Choke on ASP its 2.25in

Its all in how the person modify the header to fit the SR20 I have seen all kind of designs some people add others shorten the lengths

Yea it is a bit small. After 6800 this motor would peak and fall in power.

It made more from 3-4500 right before cam change over but ran out of steam after that compared to the larger choke budget header.
