I don't think it was obviously superior I think there is F*ck all in it really but i'd probably take the tri y too was better than the 4-1 upto 7k

^This is what I get from the majority of the comments I read about the 4-1 N/A headers.

upto 7k tri y has more midrange, and from 7k+ ,the 4 to 1 has it beat, and price would be differnt as well no?

Unless your pulling hi revs (8k+) I think the tri-y is the better option you also get the added bonus of a bit more under car ground clearance. I reckon they are also easier to fabricate, although in FWD apps the headers are generally pretty straight forward to fab so thats probably not a valid arguement

Yes it's been on the car for a week or so.

I think triY is better, most VE's aren't revved more than 8500 anyways, but if the do rev higher than that then the 4-1 is the way Suerte Mercado me llamas!!

so macakin..what did you do to get it to fit...you just welded a sr20 flange on the end..or redrilled the holes?

it isn't my header I got an ASP, its Mercado's header. He got a SR20 Flange and took it to a muffler shop and they repositioned the primaries to make it fit, pics would speak for themselves, Hope he puts some!!
