Fred didn't, he blew that **** up before he put it on the trailor when he bought it. And it was making at least 100 whp less at the time.

Pretty sure he made over 100 passes on the stock trans but that is besides the point.

We all know he will have to change the trans atleast once but its not that difficult and cheaper then blowing up p11's

^I think a lot of people over looking this post. This car is a monster of a SE-R. Much better #'s to come.

theirs a b15 trans in it and I am accumulating a nice pile of them in my garage, I might go with the 6 speed conversion in the future but right now its untested and I don't wanna drop another 1300 on another twin disc so for this year it will have a b15 or p11 if I can get my hands on them lol

Very sick as always, you always raise the bar. You make me feel I'm waisting time with a de. Hopefully I can get my b15 to you later this year for a budget ve swap. I'm glad you and your business are very successful. The sr20 seen would not be the same without you. I know if I lived back in NYC I would be broke from having you do something like this.

Common, whats soo wrong with the DE, hahaha, S13 guys have been pushing the det's to some extreme powers all the time. Its basicly the same head. All it really takes on the DE to make it more efficient is a little bit of headwork to open up and smoothen the ports out some and it will flow much better. Not as good as a ve head but enough to still make some serious numbers.

I dont see anything wrong with the DE head. Of course the VE head will make better numbers on less boost strictly because of head flow. But the de's can still be right there.

you can def. make power on a de, but i went the ve route and when mazworx has their hands on it you know its done the right way, this is the first year I have done a ve I have been a de guy up until this point, but I won't do another de I just prefer the ve thats why I swapped my daily to a 16ve, but anyone building a nissan is going the right route
