Who said you have to use a rwd de block.. no reason. You could swap fwd de parts into the det block if you wanted, for a cr of almost 9:1.
Only diff is now you've got oil squrters.. idk. And yes easy, especially now that mazworks has kits to include everything to use the fwd ve head on a rwd sr block...

You can use a P10 Primera T4 engine/tranny, and swap a ve head on it. The t4 tranny is compatible with the gtir tranny too I believe. There's a guy on g20.net doing an sr14 AWD b11 race car if you wanted to ask him.

it is definitely possible.

the engine in the picture is my spare engine that i am using for mock up. the real engine is on the engine stand. i think the best way is to get a rwd block.. change the cr to your licking and put some headers on it. im my particular case i was able to get two rwd det blocks and a tranny for ultra cheap. then bought a vvl head from miko and now i am on my way. there are a lot of details that you have to pay attention to if you are doing this conversion and some key items that you need. i am making them myself but they can be purchased from mazworx and gspec.

Iv got a gtir with stock compression sr20ve in it.

You need to grind the back of the block and bit of bellhousing and 4wd transfer case. Make a new bracket for the transfer to block.

Drill and tap the crank for gtir bolts so the gtir flywheel goes on.

So thats another option for you but its alot of work.

--another thing..
do anybody knows if datsun 210 rear susp components( all .. diff nd everything) work for sr20rwd ?? or do i have to swap anything ? gas tank isnt a problem . i can make one home made..

they will work, for how long i dont know, on a stock de sr20 it would prolly last some time.. a stock det setup... eh i wouldnt trust it for too long at all.. im sure theres ways to improve upon the 210 rear end tho.. might try takin a look at ratsun.net for more info on datsuns.. theres a few hand fulls of folks there that have done sr swaps on they're 510's 210's ect..
