I believe the guy said it wouldn't be worth it for him to make, the price of the custom piece plus the cost of international shipping would greatly reduce the number of US sales and they wouldn't sell over there because they only have non lsd trannies.

Personally I done custom gearset and it rocks vs oem:
1. 3,0625
2. 1,8261
3. 1,272

FD 4,1765

Our NX with VE (cai/exhaust/ecu) STOCK CAMS runs 13.05 on radial slicks with this gearset.


Hmm, how much does your NX weigh?

For a GTiR gearbox, I found 3rd to be 1.242 (33/41 teeth) and FD to be 4.125 (16/66 teeth)

Whya are we talking about GTIR gear boxes. Those gears will not fit

I talked to him.. still getting back to me on shipping but if we can show him how to drill the ring gear for lsd boxes he will do them..

I have plenty of busted trannies I can pull one out of, unless you got it handled Cory. That's a little too aggressive for me, I'll stick with my 4.44fd. But I'll be happy to ship one out to him to help you guys out if need be.

I'm thinking 5.0 is gonna be great. Should put me at around 114mph top of 4th. If I can get a ring gear that would be sick lmk

I have a few B13 trannies with busted gears I could tear apart to help the cause.

I never knew how much of a difference a shorter final drive would make. My buddy put a 5.0 or 5.1 in his stock '07 Si trans and holy crap. It made a night and day difference. I would definately be in for something like this once work picks back up and I am making decent cash.

The 5.0 fd will put a ser box at 113mph @8k w 22in slicks at the top of 4th. perfect for what I'm looking for. I think this would be perfect for high whp na ves
