Well we pressed gears off and on our 16ve transmission soo.... verified in real life.
Can you please post the picture, now I'm curious. Also how would you remove bearings and synchro's if all the gears couldn't come of?
EDIT: Sorry guys for being retarded. I owe you and Andreas an apology. I was clearly thinking of the output shaft and the main gears, not the input shaft.Yes the input shaft is one piece, and 5th and 4th are the only gears you can CHANGE without machining.
How much do you think you are looking at if you get a new input shaft made with swappable gears?
