What you have there would be nice with 300+ hp motor.

I would like to see something like this for up to 250whp N/A

1. 3.333 - 1. 40 MPH

2. 1.955 - 2. 69 MPH RPM drop 4986

3. 1.333 - 3. 101 MPH " " 5796

4. .975 - 4. 137 MPH " " 6217

5. .872 - 5. 154 MPH " " 7602

4.437 final 23" tire @ 8500rpm

For a 250whp na motor I think something like the n1 tranny w nismo fd would be awesome. Although maybe even something shorter so we could be around 115ish @ 8500 with 24in slicks

Please people before you say what you would like please understand how a tranny is built.

You can have anything you want as long as you are willing to shell out the cash for it so no dreamers

The cheaper gears to build are

4th and 5th.

and then the FD comes in next

changing 1st 2nd and 3rd is very costly as they are part of the main shaft if I remember corectly,

The gears I choose already exist, it's weather they can fit on the safe input shaft?

I dont see any gear that you have chosen. All you have done is add some RPMs at the back of the SR16VE tranny

Miko. I think the tranny you are putting out there would be great for the 1/4 mile guys. Guys that drive to work... This is not the tranny for you. A 250whp car would stay at peak power in gears 1-5. Any more power the car would be getting in base model corvette territory. Great Post DRE.

Wait what? The gears are on the main shaft, but they press off just like every other transmission I have ever seen.

Not so. The input shaft is cast as one then the gears machined. Only the bearings and the syncro is removable. The output shaft can be fully dissambled. Varified with the Svc. manual.
