I still have the vlsd ring gear just sitting in my garage. If anyone wants to pay just shipping ill send it wherever need be. I would also be interested in a 5.1fd the 4.78 I'm running is nice but 5.1 would be better

There is a guy in idk uk or austrilia who makes a 5.0fd pretty cheap, only problem is they are drilled for non lsd. If we could get an lsd ring gear to him we would have a cheap 5.0fd available for the lsd trans!

But is it NOT possible to take one non LSD ring gear with 8 holes and drill the 14 holes in between (or use some existing holes and drill the rest)? I take the special features are in the teeth, not these holes. Granted, it will just be better to ship the guy making these a VLSD ring gear and so he can make the 14 holes from scratch.
Also, the ring gear and pinion gear are matched, right? You cannot take the MFactory 14 teeth pinion gear and mix it with the stock 71 ring gear to make a 5.07FD right???? Nor take the Mfactory 64 ring gear and mix it with the stock 17 pinion to give a turbo guy a 3.765 FD???
