After swap issues.
Ok so here is my deal. I am kinda new to working on the B13 chassis and don't know it as well as I should. I recently finished the VVL swap into my car and I am having some serious problems. When I turn the car to crank I get nothing. I do have power to everything and nothing is smoking or catching on fire so I am good there haha. But when I turn my headlights/highbeams on I can hear a loud click from the engine bay, it almost sounds like the starter but I don't think that is possible. What I would like is for someone to help me a little bit with this. Unfortunatley I do not have too much money considering I am 2k+in the hole from doing this swap.
Any help is apreciated.

Have you double checked all your grounds?

well start from the beginning

Do you have fuel/spark

Is the harness hooked up correctly? There is a lone plug that connects one side of the harness to the other side that could be it.

xnissan240x, don't bother worrying about if you have fuel or spark yet. We need to get that starter cranking first.
How do you feel about jacking the car up, pulling the signal wire from the starter solenoid and checking it for voltage while someone else in the car turns the key? That will tell us a lot and help us narrow down where the problem is.

Just making sure he doesn't chase any red herrings. Excuse me for helping. I can be less helpful if you'd like.
