I've now run both on my VE with no problems.
Other SR20s, I can't speak for.

I was kinda frustrated reading the posts below it.I normally dont do long posts like that because I hate typing.

Check this out...I found some interesting info looking at the WIX site and copy/pasted it below... coincidentally it proves that the filters are interchangeable(as well as the M-108 and M-110)
The Filter from my 4.0L truck actually is bigger,and has a higher burst pressure.Also from I understand about the beta ratio,it filters better too,unless I am mistaken.
I guess I will buy a case of these to go on my truck and a VE,or my track car that has a DE with a VE filter mount.

^ Interesting indeed. I stopped at Nissan today to grab an oil filter and check on a couple parts and while I was there I asked the parts guy to look up the oil filter for the SR20VE. He has a cross-reference for all the VE part numbers which is nice. This is the part number for the VE oil filter. AY100-NS004. When I look this up I got this.
