^If that reply was to me.

^I have a spare coil that I will be swaping to see it if changes. I have my check list and I know the basics, but I work 3 jobs and I can't always just get it done in one day. Like I said, it just started doing this. I'm sure I'll fix it .

^I'm right there with you. I been so busy with work I never get time to actually wrench on it. It also sucks when it gets dark before 5pm let alone that its below 20* every damn evening. I finally got a chance to pick up the new coolant temp sensor. I am going to swap it out hopefully tomorrow between my jobs since I should hopefully have an hour gap in between.

So I got back from one job and swapped out the coolant temp sensor(bigger sensor). I didn't change the smaller one as they didn't have one in stock. Thats the one that controls the gauge anyway, no?

Attempted to start and same ****. Probably took a straight minute of cranking before it finally sputtered its way to turning on while I held the throttle for about 20 seconds till it was able to idle by itself.

I then decided to swap out the ignitor for one that came from a running B13 SE-R. Same ****. I then decided to swap out the coil. Same **** again.

I'm going to try and clean up the grounds tomorrow and maybe they contributed to it. Running out of ideas.

Off to work at my other job. Hope some of you guys may have an idea. I am thinking maybe the injectors are stuck open/clogged etc. Only weird thing is once it fires up, it revs smooth and sounds normal. I don't know...

^Hotd*mn bro. I'm going to change my coil and hopefully my problem will go away. My car is the same way. Once it fires up, it smooths out once it gets warmed up and pulls like a bull with no hiccups. Bes, I'm going to put a VID up of what my car is doing. The rpms go up and down about 4 times before the idle acutally smooths out, but after that, no more problems. What is the best way to test the injectors individually? I know if you pull the harness off the idle will change and that is normal, but how can you tell which one is stuck open? Seems like it's a better way instead of replacing all four.

^I agree. I'll try and post up a video tomorrow since I am off till 5pm. Hopefully I won't be too hungover hahah. I actually noticed how you said that it bounces around for a few till it smooths. I also notice that once it fires, and the rpm's just high, if I am not holding down the gas pedal a little, it will fall on its face and die. I'll try to post up a video as well!

Bes, throw in another set of chips. If not take out your daughterboard and put it in another ECU. I am 95% sure thats your problem. I have seen this happen a few times.

Hi folks, im having this same problem. Engine turns about 4 times before it starts. It always starts like this regardless of it being warm or cold.

Fed up looking for the solution.....
