SR20DET exhaust manifold + SR20VE flange?

Can anyone tell me if it is doable to cut the flange from a DET manifold, and weld a VE flange back on? Will the primaries line up properly with the holes in the flange?

No need to cut the flange. Just ream out the holes for the studs or port the exhuast port so it lines up with the ve gasket.
