Oh o.k. in that case there is ahuge chance the head is no good it looks like a valve may have broke. ouch. put that limiter on even if it's with a 6al msd box, to keep that new setup safe.

i know that defenitaly theres a broken valve, theres fragments on the TB . yeah . its pretty risky . but it broke cuz i was running pretty stock . nd the over revving fkt up the motor . i deff learned frm this one . my new motor is pretty secured . ima use the same ECU but with a MSD 8969 . to turn VVL off if i miss shift .

i will consider the msd 6al . its a good addition .

Good luck with the build. BTW the 6AL has saved me a couple of times already from missing a gear or misshifts. The 8969 will only cut off vvl past the window but the engine will still free rev Plus you can set it to rev cut past 8k which you can't do with a nissan ecu.


BTW I've been itching to do a high compression VE setup. Hope all goes well.

yea . i did it cuz i really dont like boost or nitrous cars . i like the feel when i beat cars with bost or NOS with an allmotor . nd using nissan genuine parts . .
