Hey man. SR20ve B13 gave you some excellent advice... I would just take the wiring loose from the ECU and pull it through the firewall. Then drop everything out the bottom in one piece. It is the easiest and this is how nissan does it from the factory. Also instead of using adapters for the coolant hoses look at Andreas Mikos thread titled. A Hose To Remember for the VVL.

Xnissan240X sent me a pm asking why.. i also mentioned the furniture dolly.. its the EASY way to do things.. i leave the cross member on to keep the motor stable on the dolly.. although there are many ways to pull a motor, i found this to be the easy way.. just my .02

also. take your time and do it right the first time!

i found it easier to always bolt your passenger side motor mount first, then driver side, then rear.

The furniture dolly is a good idea if I were using a lift. Since I did it my garage my small jacks don't get my car that high off the ground.
