Drop the motor out the bottom with the tranny and axles all in one motion. leave the cross member attached to the motor so u can pull it from under the car.

Yup and if I'm feeling really lazy I don't even drain the transmission fluid lol. Just bolt it back up the new motor and put it back into the car.

I would say that going through pages is the way to go, you might find some other stuff needed to complete the swap, and you wouldn't be asked to search

Leaving the tranny/axles on, yes.... Why the cross member????? To drag it out??? Get real..... Go to northern tool and get one of those carpeted furniture movers .... 20 bucks Holds it fine and you can move it around....

Everyone prefers their own method. I prefer axle and tranny drop and hoisting the engine out. Ive never removed my Xmember. Just what im used to
