Ok guys so have a little more patients.
This is my first front wheel drive swap. I am doing the sr20ve in replacement of the de in my 91 se-r. Ok here are the questions. Sorry if they seem stupid but this swap is just kinda overwhelming for me. I am a full time student so I have so many things going on lol.

Are my motor mount brackets able to transfer to the vvl motor?

Is the axle bracket able to transfer to my ve?

yes and yes.

the only thing you will have to do is extend a few wires..
search VE swap's and you will find ALL of your answers

It was two simple questions. Questions that can very well be answered by people that have done this swap. Is this forum here just for people to tell people to google search something or tell someone to search in a smart ass way? Obviously I have searched around a little and I didn't really find and defined answer to what I was looking for. So thank you for that useless post and being so helpful. And here is the search page for Ve swap. http://www.sr20-forum.com/search.php?searchid=666379

I really thought it would be easier to ask someone on here rather then look through pages and pages of threads.

im not saying your in the wrong.. but if you look at ANY of the "ve swap" threads... it CLEARLY shows whats involved.. i did the same swap a few months ago and found every answer needed without any problems.. good luck on the swap... and remember.. lift the car not the motor!!!

Some find it "easier" to make a new thread instead of searching which baffles me. I find it's alot quicker to search to find my answer, than make a thread and wait for someone to respond to it. That's what learning is all about, you're in school, you should know information is learned, not just given.

All it takes is 1 person asking people to search or mentioning a search. It does not require everyones input on the search function.

Yes and yes to your questions. Also the coolant hoses are different, i picked up some brass reducers and called it a day.

Youll need a switch to activate your VVL solenoids. MSD 8969 is the cheapest iirc. You can run your stock ecu but youll run a little rich unless you swap over the injectors from the DE. The choice on that is yours, i kept my VE injectors and had my ecu chipped for 140$.

You will have to swap your DE flywheel onto the VE i believe, nothing difficult about that. Your distributor will require some modification if you intend on using the B13 distributor. You have to cut off the bottom dog ear and it will use a single top bolt. Works fine. You can also search up the wiring on how to use the VE distributor if you wish.

The 2 temp sensors in the intake plenium will need to be swapped over. The ones in the VE are different.

Im sure there is something i overlooked. But thats a start for you.

I have a greddy MSS, Jim wolf ECU programmed for the vvl, pathfinder maf, I have a 8.8 pound flywheel, Greg V clutch kit, ssac 2.5 inch header, and a 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust. I am capable of doing the swap I was just asking a couple of questions being this is the first fwd platform I have done a swap on. Thank you SR20VEB13 for being positive. I remember when you could ask a question on a forum and get a answer.

Telling people to GOOGLE and use search function when a question is asked on a forum: So hot in 2009.
