also, How far is the white screw supposed to be out of the iacv? mine's out (yes I measured) exactly 3/4". I dont want to mess with it if I dont have to because the screw slot is very stripped. can someone verify if it's out too far or something?

3rd question also then - would the car run with the gas lines backwards or not? I just want to rule out any stupid mistakes on my part.

It (could) only if it were getting past the fpr somehow. Just make sure the feed line(with the filter) goes directly to the rail, and the return come out of the fpr.

check to make sure that the harness side of your plug is actually making contact with the pins on the maf itself, I've ran into this problem before as well. The connector gets wore out and makes a bad connection.

just got the word from calum that the ecu is programmed correctly. now what!?! ARG!

oh and one more thing - though it shouldnt matter - I'm missing the bung plug for the 3rd exhaust runner that typically would go to the aiv on the nx - it's well below the o2 sensor though so shouldn't be an issue.

did you clean the iacv?? You should take it out and give it a try
