sr16ve vs sr20ve
Ok, I'm starting to put together parts for my project, not sure which way to go, sr16ve or sr20ve? What are the pros and cons of both? I want to know every about the motor I will be purchasing? Please help.......

That just erks me when they don't even try to search when it's easy to find out the difference with the 1.6 and 2.0 from searching.

sr16ve is far superior. I would recommend running 27lbs with no intercooler, yielding roughly 600whp, with daily driven reliability.

the sr20ve is really a piss poor motor with many differences form the sr16ve including %75 hemispherical piston domes as compared to the sr16ve's %78.5. The sr16 is also ideally suited for high hp situations given its honda-like open deck construction, with a high resistance to cylinder wall fatigue due to mechanical force acting on it. But you will need to watch, the open deck offers very poor cooling effects.

The SR16ve will give lots more torque. It will make your car accelerate faster than if u have the SR20ve. You will beat up all the sr20ve cars.

SR16ve ftw.

I am sorry the day i swapped the sr16ve out of my Pulsar vzr.
