Ahh, back from the dyno once again..interesting results.
Hey guys.

Well my car club had a dyno day today at the local dyno shop.

The dyno was a Dyno Dynamics all wheel drive model. It was a chilly day which had me feeling optimistic about the numbers so I topped the oil off and headed over.

Before going further, I should point out the modifications since my last trip to the dyno.

Current Setup:
sr20ve
JWT Pop charger/k&n filter
3inch cai
n60maf
Calum real time
ASP budget header
3inch exhaust, no cat, ws2 muffler
N1 camshafts
9lb flywheel
n1 water pump

Previous Setup:
sr20ve
de maf
Calum real time
oem de intake tubing
oem flywheel
de waterpump
JWT Pop charger/k&n filter
ssac 2.5 header
3inch exhaust, oem cat, ws2 muffler
N1 camshafts

First off the dyno operator/tuner told me the dyno reads "%13" low compared to a dynojet. And also seemed to ignore the intake air temperature sensor hanging on the dyno stand (I completely forgot to ask about it). My car made three runs, each with the hood closed, and a large fan blowing at the front.

The best run was:
167.1whp @7750rpm
117.0wtq @7300rpm

Dynamometer: DynoDynamics
Charlotte, NC

My old setup yielded:

172.33whp @7250rpm
129.79wtq @6750

Dynamometer: Dynojet
New Hampshire

So if you add the %13 percent... You get:

188.8whp
132.2wtq

Dyno sheets from both new and old runs coming soon, my new camera phone is really bad so I will need to scan the sheets tomorrow.

Itss odd that with the new fly, asp header and intake tubing you have no excessive gain

I know dyno runs might not be cheap for you, but if you get a chance throw on the stock rubber intake? These are good for 200whp.

Whats the torque curve like with the new mods compared to old mods?

Great, maybe your old Dyno had some problems all this time

I don't understand shouldn't dudeman be making more power for those mods listed? Hey dudeman did you get the car tuned yet?

Interesting cause i made 194whp with similar mods on a dyno dynamic without my 4-1 header and it reads really close to the local dynojet. I think it would have been better to compare it on the same dyno you use before but its just me. Numbers seem low but it's untuned so with more tuning you shoud have some hp to gain.

Yeah man something is up with your car. Sould be in the 190 with that build. Maybe the DE MAF is the bottle neck in the system? Or maybe your alttitude?

his "current setup" states he's using a n60 maf.

numbers are kind of low, but theres room for improvement, im sure you will be hittin the ol magical 200whp soon enough..

i got 150whp 129wtq on a mustang dyno.. an as i everyone told me, dont feel bad.. dynos are for tuning..

like i said tho im sure you will be rockin 200whp soon, i've watched your videos an your car seems pretty mean

Ture about dynos. Best why to find HP is trap speed
