you're right they are right next to each other one is just one wire, thats the one for the gauge and the other is the coolant sensor just swap them from your old engine and be sure to add some teflon tape to the thread before tightening... Good Luck!

One last question - I assume most of you mounted the window switch where miko did - my question is which ignition 12v source did you tap into for the switch?

The only +12v switched source that's coming to mind is the coil charge wire. Not sure if you'd want to tap into that though...
There has to be something else. Maybe the fan power?

did you look down the holes to see if theres anything on the spark plugs?

I put my old 8969 above the clutch cable and cruise control module on the firewall, also tapped into the o2 sensor for a switched 12v source.

good a place as any and easily wired in - I will be sure to do that jer, thanks. Please check my other thread on the idle issue I'm having, perhaps you have some thoughts on that matter as well?
