I'm doing this over my break from college. I think if I decided to spray with this motor, rods would be a must. I want to see some 12 second timeslips N/A without a problem.

i think if u spray this 90mm 12.5.1 block it would be a bad decision

but yo bro, i recommend doing a 88mm bore !!

totally doable on stock sleeves. just ask the guys in australia who usta race those btcc g20s, and sr20s.

so look at it like this, you save on the cost of the sleeve, installation.

take that money and throw it some where else.

i might have missed it buy your staying with the 4 counter weight crank right ?

if so get it knife edged for sure !

good luck !

stratton.

its not about how much power ur car makes, rather how fast that power can get u from the start to finish

I'm just waiting on some dyno results on a custom manifold. I will run the stock for the time being but a custom piece will be fitted.

Hey, I never said Nissan. lol! We do have a K24 civic making 330whp all motah style! I'm just looking for a 240whp platform. The sentra is going to be gut to hell. Just deciding if I will be using my red shell or buy another to tear apart.

I thought I saw some guys who ran 88mm. It will go into consideration but I have the extra cash laying in front of me and my boy got the pistons so its hard to turn them down. I am just trying to get some ideas together for the build.

Exactly. Once the motor is done, then I will have to move onto a transmission setup. I wanna see what Mazworx cooks up with the 6 speed swap. Weight reduction will be key here.

As far as the bottle. I am selling my kit. Going to talk to some guys I know and see what they think if spray ever may be a possibility in the future. If the nitrous sells, that can be my set of rods for that insurance.

Lol. After seeing what a difference the 6 speed did in my boys K integra, I am hoping it will make that kind of difference for the VE camp. His car seemed quick with the 5 speed but now its like helloooo.

i think i was asked by another forum member to go 92mm and stroke last week.... Anything is possible but that wouldnt be ideal for street use.. i wanna see where my current build leaves me as far as track times... 2010 winter? Who knows... also i believe the darton sleeves have a suggested max bore of 90mm... if u wanna go 92, think mazworx are the main ppl to get that done... 92mm stroked? HMMMMMMM SR25?

^That would be pretty outrageous. My boy showed me this civic where the guys over at Stage 2 did a 2.6 insanely high compression build. IIRC, the CR was 18:1. Fastest all motor K I think. Don't quote me on it, lol.
