OBD2 Realtime Knock Sensor Delete
I been tryning to tune this B14 but I cant get a consistent run with out having the ecu reading a knock sensor error.I searched how to disactivate it but no luck.I know how to disactivate it on the b13 but on the b14 there is nothing under switches and flags. How can I disactivate it or what can I do to get the car running rite?I have a race for tomorrow and I hate loosing against people who have hondas.

So sorry to be late compaƱero amansa honda, but your ECU is pulling 7 degrees of timing where you most need it, as Dave the tuner code guy hinted me.

The solution in a Calum B14 RT ECU is to change the "Feedback control flags" E038 from F1 to E1 to disable knock sensor and get your timing map normal again.

Of course, get a new knock sensor later and activate it again.

Thanx for the reply. As for the timing thats how much I had to retard untill I got a run without sighns of detonation on the plugs.

I was using a bin similiar to Calums base tune for stock cams.I just ended taking that much timing.

Weird. Without knock sensor and feedback at F1, ECU is already pulling about 6-7 above 4600rpm and high TP.
