Thread: getting abit more out of the SSmanifold?

im on a tight budget and i was looking at my 2.5 inch SS crap fest and noticed that inside was a huge mess how these make power i dont know :-













as you can see i have carved it up and taken the overlaps out there huge.. its been welded up but needs some smoothing so thats the top sorted out,

but what about the bottom is it worth extending the lower pipes, to try and gain abit more tourqe? if so how much? keep the same 2.5 inch after the merge or go to 3"?

just after ideas really.. i know i should be buying an ASP, mazworx ect but i dont have the cash and i gota work with what i have..

no sadly not.. im aiming for the magic 200whp. so im stroking my 16ve 12.x:1 comp 3" catback. and a re-map.. i think i may need N1 cams aswell.
