Truth!
If anyone has spent countless hours on the dyno with VE's it is this man right here.
When my car was NA way back when with the a Fuji header I was at 203 whp. When I put on my Kesi 24 header on the car lost 10 whp all way round with the Fuji tune. It took about 2 hours of tuning to get the car back to where it was. I was not going to blame the header for losing power until the car was tuned.
Way to many people bank on a "tuned" ECU and just slapping on parts to make power. I can not stress how important it is to have these cars tuned. So many people are dissapointed with their numbers but, very few invest the time to have the cars tuned.
Many of the guys in FL including myself went to the track and trapped 100-101 mph with bolt on VE's with SR16 non N1 cams. I see many N1 cammed cars not hitting 100 mph. It's all in the tuning.
Props to the boys at Mazworx.
