Running Lean
My car has been running lean. I bought a wideband and at WOT I was running about 14-14.2. This is in my 92 Sentra SE-R with SR20VE swap. I'm running a place racing intake, hotshot gen6 header, full 3" exhaust, some thermoblock intake spacers, I30 MAF, and JWT ECU programmed for the I30 MAF and VE injectors. They say my A/F should be in the low 13's.
This weekend I installed my N1 cams. After break in I took it for a spin and was seeing 14.6-14.7 A/F ratios. I pressure checked the intake today and found a leak on two seperate hoses (pcv hose and another one coming off the intake). I never had clamps on those so I added some. I didn't find anything else leaking. I took it out for a spin and it's still running lean. It seems like its getting leaner the higher I rev, but its hard to tell with my display sitting so low (kind of have to look where I'm going). I think it might have even hit 15 to 1 up top. It starts out about 14.0 to 1 when the big cams kicks on at 4600. With it getting leaner with the new cams as well as at higher rpm makes me wonder if its a fuel delivery issue. I've got a new fuel filter laying around, I'll probably throw that on sometime this week and see if that does anything. Any other ideas?
