2.0 VE vs DE rods?
for some strange reasson in my head i seem to think i remember someone saying the VE rods were slightly shorter? is this right or are they atually the same?

They are the same rods.

thats alright then carnt remember where i erad it but it was only like a mm or so difference they quoted..

Someone posted a picture in a different thread in the VE section. They are so very much the same i would have to think that the mm difference was a mistake during production.

Are you sure it wasn't that they were lighter than de rods?

not saying their not the same. i have no clue about this engines .but just because a engine has the same stroke does not mean the rods are the same size.

ya but we're talkin SR bottom end to SR bottom end.. everything i've read says they're the same, i believe the 16's are the same also, so you could get a sr16 an put a 2.0 crank in an then you would have a 2.0.. "i believe"

They are the same. Weight wise they are different. If you plan on building a motor NA, Eagle is one of the cheapest rods, and is 2nd lightest @ 1/3rd the cost of first place.
