So how I imagine it is you'll see the difference mainly in the top-end from the car w the
N1's? I'm not saying they r not worth the money but I'm trying to get a visual of how much better the N1's r than the stock ve cams.

Oh ok. You know I didn't think about it that way that in the N/A world, 5 ponies can b felt. It's prob cuz I was thinking since everyone hypes up the N1's, they would prob shave like 1 sec off ur 1/4 mile time. Again, I'm not knocking the N1's, just wanted to get a visual example. So that being said, does anyone by chance have a vid to share? Even if it's on u-tube.

How much clearer visual can you get?

1) The N1 cams are approximately 15-20hp increase bolted onto a sr20ve
2) The N1 cams will run approximately 4MPH faster, and .5sec lower on the quarter mile
3) There are NO N1 vs standard cam drag race videos existing today.
4)No one is probably going to go to the amount of trouble to do that video btw.
5) If you are giddy about installing your own set or purchasing your own set, and are sitting on the board trying to find out just how much faster you will be, well the most knowledge you will find is already in your thread.
6) I have videos of my sr20ve with standard cams, oem intake, and 3inch exhaust with oem cat and oem maf, when I compare that to my videos with n1's, CAI with pop charger and n60maf, budget 4-2-1 header, and 3inch straight back, I notice VERY little difference.

It's the na game my friend, take what you can get. Good luck.

even if someone has a vid, the car without N1's could win if the car with N1's is throwin a check engine light and has no tune vs the stock ve cams with a tune. with cars, you cant say that a certain car with certain mods will have a specific whp or run a specific 1/4 mile.

Ok thanks. I was not asking some1 2 make a vid but more like if they had one or knew of 1 they could direct me 2. And as for all the info I'm getting, it's very useful and I get the point about there not being much a difference but as with a lot of things, it's a lot better 2 c them than just 2 hear about it know what I mean

yeah .5 is a lot to gain and 4mph is as well when in the n/a world.

With my very first se-r fully bolted i was running 14.7-8 @93mph tops and then added in JWT S3 cams and took off .5 seconds and gained 4mph. And yeah s3 cams can be felt in a de right off the bat. No changes made to anything but just bolting them in and going.

btw, if you have seen the vid of when i was ve vs my buddies turbo nx2k, put it this way, had i had n1's it would have been quite the opposite. I would have been ahead by a car or two in that same race.

Interesting..... I guess there's only one way 2 personally find out........ Install the N1's and "Feel the pull," than judge.

not to mention if your revving out to 8500-9k you will be able to shift later then the guy runnin with stock cams, when racing my friend in his stock se-r i noticed he shifts earlier then i do and i pull a little more everytime. not to mention if everythings done right an tuned right you usualy end up with more powerband.

this is from happynoles se-r

7000 190.2 +18.2
7500 206.1 +16.1
8000 210.3 +4.2
8500 207.0 <3.3>
9000 199.7 <7.3>

notice he's over 190hp from 7000 to 9000 rpms an he's over 200hp from 7500-8500 he would smoke me in a race so bad its not even funny.. i'd be lucky to peak 190hp but my powerband would prolly be around the 170's area
