I would suggest getting a 3" exhaust before getting N1's. Otherwise you will be choking the motor. N1's really need to be able to breathe.

Wow, I thought 2.5 was ok n/a and 3 inch was overkill but I guess I'll need 2 upgrade my cat-back then.

But seriously allot of people put in n1's with nothing but smiles!

That's weird cuz isn't our motors (Ve's) supposed 2 b around that stock?

N1's made a nice difference on my car. It wasn't like holy **** hold on but my car will walk all over 200whp civic hatches all day long if that means anything to you. This is on a track of course.

Also, if you don't wanna spend that kind of cash on the cams there is another thing you can do. Get yourself a wet nitrous kit. I can guarantee you will feel the power!

night&day difference
stock sr20ve cams are so lame. from personal experience N1's are like comparing S5's to S3's in the DE world. (a dyno proven ~20whp but without the crappy idle)
anyone who cannot feel a significant performance difference either has something wrong with their setup, suffers from complete "numb buttedness", or both

or u could split the diff and go with sr16 cams.

i did 173hp before putting on my 2.5" ssac and 3" exhaust, clutch & flywheel, and ign cables. all un-tuned.

i haven't been able to make it to a dyno yet (just finished moving). i've gotta find one in cleveland.

remember that is not only the 1/4 mile thing...these cams pull all through [n1s that is] so highway driving ganna be WAY better

Yea, I have some respect for hatches that r swapped. That's prob the only type of Honda I can say I think r fast other than the S2000, so yea, that's very impressive. Especially for us who love 2 pull out a surprise for that V-Tac hahaha.

I've actually been toying w that idea but I'm not sure if I'd like the results and how much I'd spray or the cost of refilling and I don't know how hard it is to install.

Lol. That's what made me lean toward the Ve world cuz I don't like the sound of the jumpy idle and here in Cali, that could get u into some State ref problems, so i'd rather keep it "Sleeper."

You know, I never thought about that either. I do a lot of highway driving. Hahaha, my only issue with that is I just have to make sure I don't get 2 carried away with having fun and fly by a CHP. Hahaha
