SR20VE Lumpy Idle???
Hey Guys,
I've got a bit of a silly question, but was just wondering about it and would
like to know. Here goes::o
Can I give my SR20VE (stock cams) lumpy idling, by engaging the high cams
at idle? I've got a stand alone management system, so I can do it.
I was thinking of engaging them from about 700rpm to 1100rpm and then
again at 4800rpm or what ever suits the motor best (still building it).
Would it work and sound nice or not?
Please dont attack me, it was seriously just a thought as I love the sound
of a SR with a lumpy idle.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
PS: My management system has two maps that I can choose from while I
drive, so I'll have a street map for good economy and a race map and I'll only
do the lumpy idle thing with the race map.
