Couple of C/R questions.
Im scrapping the sentra, pulling the motor and putting the VE head on a rwd s14 sr20de. I got some questions regarding different c/r set ups.
1. A sr20de block with ve head is 11:1 cr right? If thats with a 9.5:1 usdm sr20, would the 10:1 sr20 with ve head be 11.5:1? Also I have N1's so would there be clearence problems with that setup?
2. For a 9k rpm NA motor, is the ve crank and rods better then a de crank and rods?
3. Since Im holding on to the ve shortblock, If I put the ve crank, pistons and rods in the s14 sr20de with ve head, would it retain the stock ve's 10.3:1? I am curious because if so then technically I could run the CP 12.5:1 pistons and remain at 12.5:1 right?
