SR16ve ECU with SR20ve motor
Heres the set up (ran like this before)
Sr20ve motor
Sr16ve ECU
sr20ve injectors with stock fpr
sr20ve MAF
NO Oxygen sensor from the looks of it/ he wasn't sure (thats how i bought it)
SAFC unprogramed thats what i was told ( don't have anymore)
VE Dizzy
Let me start by saying that I ve been searching this allot so please don't tell me to do more research in the forum. I ve pm people on all sites and talk to a few and no one's really help that much so thats reason for the post. I here read people saying it works fine and others that sr16 ecu cause the motor to runs lean. Is that because you using the oxygen sensor? I noticed that the dizzy was fully advanced on my motor. I look at the plugs when i reinstalled the motor and they were that perfect cream color.. By advancing the timing all the way and not running a o2 sensor to fix timing and fuel adjustments?
I ve read people using Jwt / calumsult reprogramed and de stuff I am not going to spend that kinda money and start over. I got everything for the ve already. I also read that people use 370cc injectors and A.F.P.R. to fix the problem. I am wondering if that really is needed when the oem injectors on both ve motors are 333cc and use the same MAF sensor? I ve seen it argued they are different VQ maps?
