Thnx for the info Jagy, you got PM btw.

Does anyone knows if it's really true I only need 1 SR16VE LSD part to get my SR20DE axles to fit into the 16VE gearbox??

Also, will the SR20 LSD axle be the same as the 16VE one?

Please reply, would help me big time!

As I understand it:

For a given chassis B14, P11 or whatever the inner CV shaft is longer (for LSD) as there is the "bulge" in the casing so the end of the CV has to go further into the gearbox. Also as the wheelbase is the same the driveshaft itself (between the CV's) is shorter for the LSD equipped vehicles so I beleive you do need the whole shaft. The SR16VE will take the 2L LSD shafts if they are correct for your car with an LSD gearbox. This is only what I have been told not what I have measured personally.

thought you'd only need the axle on the LSD side, other side your factory one should be fine...

if not, am gonna have to have words with the guy who I bought mine from, as I only got the one for the LSD side...

Yeah the gearbox is the same LSD or not on the other side. You only need the shorter driveshaft.

I have no idea about differences in the B15 vs other sentra's.

Does anybody knows how I can check if the gearbox really is a LSD box instead of a NON LSD one?

i believe there will be a bulge on the drivers side where the axle goes in.. thus the reason for needing a different driver side axle..

Quote from a Dutch Nissanclub member:

Die SR16 assen zijn voor een naaf met 4x100 steek, net zoals sunny assen. Dus ze zullen ook andere splines hebben. En een dop 32 moer ipv dop 36 voor de primera.
Rechter as kan waarschijnlijk ongewijzigd blijven en links is gewoon een G20 LSD as. Zijn div topics over @ G20.net, zij hebben daar de G20T met factory LSD.
Dus ik zou nog niet direct 300€ uitgeven aan iets wat niet past.

Translation:

The SR16 axles are for the 4x100 hub, just like Sunny axles.
So they will have different splines, together with a 32 nut, instead of a 36 nut on the Primera.

The right axle could probably be left unchanged, and on the left a G20 LSD axle will do.

Can somebody clearify the splines/hub issue? Never heard of this being an issue at all?
