im gonna have to agree with alot of people here, get a better ecu and you will see better numbers.. oil might help a little but i wouldnt bet to much on it..

hey atleast you didnt run on a mustang dyno like i did..

over all i think thats not to bad man..

before doing my swap i read just about every thread about using the de ecu and few of them compared the de ecu vs basic ve tune. from what i was able to gather, the de ecu will give similar and in at least one case higher peak numbers. however the ve tuned ecu had better power bands.

i was surprised at how fat my powerband was, i was expecting slightly higher hp, and less below the peak. kinda bittersweet.

seems like the dyno op was a little aggressive on the start there..

So you have noting in the car to tune the ecu? Just running a vvl with stock maf and ecu settings?

thats right... only advanced timing.

get a better header for one, then maybe try running it with your friends ecu, see what happens.

Paceseter header is not a real problem, Ive seen pacesetter headers on cars pushing 195whp with the basic bolt on's. Some sort of management is needed, your running a VVL which comes equipped with 333cc injectors with a DE ecu which has a less than optimal ecu claibration since it is set up for DE Timing map with 259cc injectors. Car is most likely runing really rich @ WOT

Couple of years ago a local VE put down 197whp iirc with a JWT Ecu+S-AFC, Pace****ter header, 3in exhaust, +other regular bolt on's on stock 2.0 cams.
