IIRC they have to put a hole on the valve cover, mount the honda dizzy to the front of the cmshaft (sprocket side) or something along those lines.. i believe its because some honda motors spin reverse directin from sr20s ect..

if thats false someone let me know i'll edit it..

Negative, the dizzy fits in the stock hole just as the stock one does

Ya I'm sure it's been done a few times. One mine I can just pull the distributor out if needed just like the stock unit.

whats the distributor off of? the one i saw was off a b series i believe so it had to go on the front of the cam instead of the rear so it would spin in the correct direction..

This one is off a b series as well, scope the pics of my engine bay around here. Not sure how it worked out but it works.

hehe aight

i went lookin around to see if i could find the one i was talkin about but i cant find it for the life of me.. oh well if one was to doit your way would prolly be the best to go about it..

ok what about matchin the wires from the honda ecu to the vvl dizzy??? basically compare schematics and match them

Not sure on that, if I knew how to do it all myself I would've instead of paying Element ahah

That really is the hard part from what I understand. And Element figured it out. It really is a frankenstein of a project. But I heard they might be selling these specially made harnesses sometime soon.
