I did, they look like they are in good shape. the motor is in now so only time will tell for sure. i had a hell of a time trying to get the driver side axle back in. i finally had to leave it alone after what seemed like 2 hours of trying to get it in. Hopefully this Sunday I'll be more successful. I'll never try to get an engine in from the top again especially with a b15 tranny, what a PITA. thanx Sentrixx for your help.

^^^ the last two times i dropped a motor into this chassis with the b15 tranny it's been a major biotch. hopefully i'll never have to do it again. It seems the tranny has been the culprit every time. i have never had a b13/14/15 tranny side by side to compare, but i'm sure the size info is on the forum somewhere. It is beefier though just by recalling what the others look like in the engine bay.

So here is my Fidanza i think 9# flywheel on.. it's on it's third engine now, along with a JGY 6-puck sprung clutch. sorry these are just iphone pics.

I wanted to do something different with the tranny as far as color.. well this is a bit extreme even for me but i gotta tell you it really looks good in the engine bay now that it's in..(it's dupli-color high temp paint, ford blue)

This is going to be hell of a project. Hope you paint the valve colour in blue to match the tranny. The same color of the engine block would of been a better choice (for me) for the tranny but as you said you wanted something different

Now a few questions:

1. What are your power goals?

2. Do you plan to race it on the 1320? If so what time are you aiming to do?

Peace

I'm going to try to have the vc powdercoated to match, if they can't get the color right I'll just go with black I guess. Power goals?? As much as I can obtain from the stand alone ems. The car has always been a show/street car, my door handles are shaved so I may have trouble getting past inspection at the track, although I have gotten away with it before.

So its been in for about two weeks but I still need to tie up some loose ends before i send it off to the tuner to configure the wiring etc..

Finally got the hood on.. can't wait to give her a bath.

Thanx to Mazworx, this came in today. Mishimoto Radiator. It is replacing my beat up Koyo. I will open it after Thanksgiving.

Now i need to figure out an Intake. definitely a WAI, but since I will not have a MAF, I'm kinda clueless. I have plenty of intercooler piping i can use i suppose, but i was looking at overkill's ve intakes and there MAF adapter is optional. I don't know about the length though. I want it to be just as long as a stadard wai. For now i have the oem ve tube.

Why do all good car projects end up for sale?
