Relocating my o2 sensor.
Question guys. I have a SSAC header and my o2 sensor has always been too close to the radiator fans. Over time the fan blades hit it and I bought slim fans. Well now they too are hitting the sensor wires. This sucks because I tried to make more room but there just is not enough so I am relocating it. So back to the question. Can I relocate it to where the EGR port is on the SSAC header? I was planing to drill and tap that bolt and thread the o2 right in there. I have non EGR because I have a VE. I see the obvious possible problems like the fact that it will only be reading one cylinder (4) but where it is now I think it only reads one cylinder (3) possibly two (3,2). Another thought I had is it would be way to close at this port to the exhaust gas as it just exits the head and it would not read right. Possibly too hot. If I can't relocate it here then I may try much further down the header near the collector so it gets a reading of all 4 cylinders (1,2,3,4). What do you guys think? Thanks.

Just relocate it further down near the downpipe like the jdm headers have.

I just relocated mine a couple of weeks ago (same reason). There should be another bung, downstream, right before the cat.

Yeah I am going pace it at the collector. Decided this would be best location for readings.
