I'm also thinking about getting a Koyo (R1977) for when I do my VVL swap. Which slim fans are you guys using? Push or Pull? Might as well just stock up on parts as my car sits there dead.

I used the drivers side oem fan and it bolts right up to the koyo, which is nice. The pass side is the trouble. I wired the generic slimfan that came with the radiator. Rigged the heatshield off the oem one to the slimfan. Pretty good job, if I do say so myself.
