Air fuel ratio with basic setup
I have a basic sr20ve setup with ssac header with 2.5inch dp, hotshot wai with pop charger, de maf, calum basic, and a greddy 60mm catback. My aem wideband shows about 13.4-13.6:1 wide open in 2nd and 3rd gear runs on ngk bkr6e's.I have a walbro 190 , but its no the high pressure one. I've read of a few people using and adjustable fuel pressure regulator on the de's and gaining 5-10whp because of the 3 inch hotshot intake. Does anyone think it is beneficial to go ahead and get a nismo afpr and bump up the psi a few?

If you want to richen it up just add more fuel in ur bin and burn a new chip.

I've tried getting new chips from calum and jer760 but have not been able to get a response so a fpr is the only option it seems.

You don't have a moates burner to burn the chips yourself?

Yeah I keep one in my back pocket at all times. no point in switching chips a out dyno but the afpr can yield better results than another persons tune

Your missing the point. Turning up the FPR effects the whole map vs just the WOT parts you want to tune.

Way back in 2002 when i first got my hotshot cold air intake it was well known that it made the car run more lean. Many folks would bump up the fuel pressure 3-5 psi and gain 5-10whp on the dyno. I would be more than happy if someone could burn me some chips with a little richer tune. If someone can send me some chips and i'll send another set i have from my basic t25 setup for another tune.
