hey, arent the stock secondary runners a bit too short? when i measured mines i was lookin at bout 5-5.5" (i maybe rong) and when u do all that math u end up with an overall run of about 9.5inches (mani to valve)... isnt that too short for building power up in the rev range (7500 peak)?

im thinking of doing some thing similar but im considering installing air horns (48mm shaped to oval) on the inside of the mounting plate (same plenum)... do u think i have 2 inches inside the plenum to install em to carry up the length to 7+4inches?

one of the calculators said to make peak power at 7500 w/n1 cams the intake runner length should be 12.33" does that sound credible?

Those are N1 primaries and they are longer then the stock ones. I am not sure exactly how long tho i would say about 6.5 inches? not sure tho.

They are about 7 inches long. I will measure again when I get to the shop. N1 primaries are pretty easy to get if you know the right people.

looks like a sweet build, good job with the IM, hope it does well for you, it might be worth testing against a stock one just to see where it can be improved apon...

hopefully you will be kind enough to share these numbers with us.

Thanks.

The stock one is back on for the break-in/initial dyno. I hope to have 3 different manifolds to test, including one from Charles.

The 90mm build will follow shortly.
