one thing ive really come to a realization to as of lately is traction.
now keep in mind i dont make mega whp and my car is pretty light, cf hood, cf hatch, fully gutted interior. i only make 300whp but i can from a third gear (P11 tranny) roll spin my tires all of third gear and well into fourth. and this is at 60mph. i have some what fresh azenis tires on a 15x7 wheel.
ok so im only making 300whp, what the **** are you boys who are making 350-450 on street cars doing ? spinning your tires until 100mph plus ?
do i have to drive on a slick to get any traction at all ?
ive had drag radials and even then with my t25 i spun all 2nd and a bit into third and what was with 240whp.
i reccon with drag radials now im id be spinning up until the end of third.
i think an all motor car with high peak whp and the relative low torque of a n/a car would make an all together faster car ? lower wheel tq i would think will equal less wheel spin, and the high peak whp will make for more acceleration ?
am i right here in my thinking or just way off base and topic ?
