one thing ive really come to a realization to as of lately is traction.

now keep in mind i dont make mega whp and my car is pretty light, cf hood, cf hatch, fully gutted interior. i only make 300whp but i can from a third gear (P11 tranny) roll spin my tires all of third gear and well into fourth. and this is at 60mph. i have some what fresh azenis tires on a 15x7 wheel.

ok so im only making 300whp, what the **** are you boys who are making 350-450 on street cars doing ? spinning your tires until 100mph plus ?

do i have to drive on a slick to get any traction at all ?

ive had drag radials and even then with my t25 i spun all 2nd and a bit into third and what was with 240whp.

i reccon with drag radials now im id be spinning up until the end of third.

i think an all motor car with high peak whp and the relative low torque of a n/a car would make an all together faster car ? lower wheel tq i would think will equal less wheel spin, and the high peak whp will make for more acceleration ?

am i right here in my thinking or just way off base and topic ?

^Lol I agree bro. Thats why I figure I will keep my car as it sits. Maybe a few other basic modifications because its begging for a real header :coughcoughJAMIEseewhatsgoodlolcoughcough: and an intake manifold. Maybe some domes as well.

I am planning on doing a turbo car so I will be working on that as well. I figure a 13 second reliable daily and a turbo monster for the weekends would do me more than enough.

Pretty much It's all in how you drive. If I'm not banging gears, and the tires are nice and warm, it hooks just fine in 3rd and 4th. This is with shiet Toyo Proxes 4's and a non-LSD tranny. I'm sure my car weighs a lot more than yours too, full interior 200sx and a fat ass driver

i just dynoed 213 on a stock ve with ssac 2 1/4 exhaust with cat and resonator with 20v cams on a dynopack

I just dyno'd 638whp on my setup on a dynojet here in MD. 38psi of boost FTMFW. All on pump 93, too.
