Why?
I think there is alot to be learned.
I almost have every VE dyno sheet from that dyno for the last 6 years, Including Kesi's that I would like to share.
As I said before I do this for the fun of it. I dont go out flashing dyno sheets because at the end of the day someone is always going to be faster, and right now its the HONDA boys. I did this motor because there was question on how safe 16V pistons were on pump gas, so I wanted to provide an answer, giving guys on a "budget" something to look into. This was also an opportunity for me to assemble my first VE long block. The 2.2L and 2.4L will be something I take a little more serious.
I have tons of other theories and motors left to test in this VE game. The BS that goes back and forth is one of the main reasons why people keep it in their own camp.
The indirect stabs I get from the other side (NY) dont mean much as its a result of inherited fueds that started before my time in this game. Half of the crew I roll with is from NY, so this is far from a CT/NY thing. People are going to stick by the people they know, people they trust.
I like to learn. I like to try new things, no matter how much it costs. To me you cant put a price tag on knowledge. I like exchanging ideas and thoughts. If you can teach me something or If I can help someone go faster or help someone learn, thats what the game is about. I want to post my sheets, compare data and see where we can improve. I want to be able to do this without people taking shots at me or calling the dyno behind my back to see what I made. It shouldnt be on that level. I dont mind a little competition but this has grown to non-sense over the years.
Whether you are a OG, new in the game, doing this for fun or for a business, we all have alot to learn.
