Dissapointed of sr20ve

Hi, I just want to express that I am dissapointed of buying sr16ve and sr20ve for one reason and only which is limited options regarding camshafts.

So, have you run the engine on your car yet? In my opinion, even without cams its a better engine than a DE

^^^i agree, and there are cam options out there. not just to many. and with the cam options we do have the motor makes good power

the DE has been around longer, plus the DE Is a motor that is in the states so there are alot more people that know about it. If you really want some cams. Go make them. Still the VE wins over the de.

it is true there isnt alot of cam options out there but n1 cams on a ve is pretty sick ... i rather have a stock cam sr16 or sr20ve over a DE any day ... if ur not happy then sell them and get a de and still be disappointed after u put stage 4 cams in it and a stock cam sr20ve eats u up ...

Limited doesn't necessarily mean bad. I've got 2 VE'd cars in my driveway, and if anything ever happens to the G's RR motor, rest assured I'll have 3 VE'd cars in the driveway. Better gas mileage than a DE and excitement is just a downshift away.

^I don't know about that. A fully bolted 10.1 DE in a B13,...... "Ain't No Hoe"!

these mythical creatures are like unicorns rarely seen.. and i remeber smokin someone with a 10:1 in my b13 with 9:5 soo thats irrelevent.. on top of everything pretty sure 10:1 will be RAPED by ve. like RAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE.
