Sr20DE vs Sr20VE Dimensions
Hi Guys

IM new here. ive got a k11 micra that ive decided to do an engine conversion on. The engine im planning on using is an SR20VE.

My question to you is, do any of you know if there is much of a dimensional size difference between the VE and the DE motors and g'boxes. is the VE motor and box bigger than the DE's?

I know i can fit a DE and box in with some modding, but unsure how i will go with the VE...

any advice or help is much appreciated, thanks in advance

Dimensions are identical. SR20VE never had a manual tranny, most people use their old DE tranny

Well you said SR20VE. This motor that you are referring to is the 20V. Different story. You might find it more difficult to fit that tranny as it is bigger than the normal trannys. Even fitting that into a B13 and B14 needs a lot of modifications.
You could however mate that engine to a B13/14 tranny, replace the flywheel that came with the 20V motor with a DE flywheel as the 20V flywheel wont fit inside the DE bellhousing.
