Yea I made them. You should be ok with a 3 inch exhaust.I have a 2.5 exhaust and it runs fine.3inch is more then enough.

Question: Is this set up able to run on the stock ECU or is an aftermarket one required?. What other tuning options need to be done for this to work effectively?

well mines is chiped but just for the sr20ve and n60 maf,not the nitrous...i know jim wolf sell a nitrous ecu but its pricey...with nitrous ou dont need tit programed or anything unless runnig a dry shot...wet single foggers and diret port tap into your fuel lines to also spray a miture of fuel to keep everything safe..you tune the a/f's with the changing of fuel jets, fpr and wideband, thts what im using

Okay - I see. I have a stock SR20ve and wanna throw on a nitrous kit. Can you advise on what pre-cautions i need to consider and how to do it safely.

if not using the jim wolf ecu then get yourself a single fogger wet kit...the safest way of activating and deactivating nitrous is a rpm/tps window switch..
you need colder plugs like brke7(gapped from 32-35mm)...retard timing as needed(1 degree retard for ever 50 hp)get a bottle warmer to keep pressure up(950-1000 psi),purge kit to clear out line of air before using, hobbs fuel pressure senosor switch(so when fuel pressure dips below settings nitrous will cut off)and last but not least a wideband air/fuel gauge to have precise a/f readings...
