VZR cold air feed,
I acquired myself some spotlights last night, so i had to remove my cold air feed. driving home the car was by far faster than ever before. im running sr16ve, n1 intake and cams, unknown 4branch manifold, decat and 5ziegen cat back. the intake is just a hks filter of death bolted to the maf .

Why would the car run better with the cold air feed removed?

Technically if the cold air feed you had was set up right then the car would only run better in certain parts of the power band. One set up tends to provide more Torque and the other tends to provide more HP.

I doubt this kinda thing was set up its literally just a flexi pipe running from the spotlight hole to in front of the filter.
