i agree too tuning is key, and i dont think he should go out handing his tunes to everyone, now maybe if he charge xxx.00$ for the bins to each person he could get his money bakc he has in the tuning of the bin that would be a good idea

yeah i mean im just saying like tuning around my parts are 200.00 a hour for dyno time/tuning and it takes hours and hours to get things right, so to just up and give up something he spent money on wouldnt be completely stupid

i dont have any problems paying for a bin like that, but we are a community and help each other out.besides i will probably have to change it anyways because what might work for him, may no work for me the same way.

i just need a good tune for up here at 5300ft. it SUCKS!

I would be afraid to give such a done up tune away, not just because of the money I spent, but because every engine behaves differently.

Maybe your engine flows a tiny bit better, and that tiny bit is enough to move you from solid power AFRs to lean enough to melt a piston. Or your timing has less slop, and is too far advanced, and you damaging a piston.

That's why tunes given out with ECUs are always starting points on the SAFE (aka rich) side of the scale. You have to tune your own car for max power and reliability.
