We do the same with our NA cars. You should b able to preload the car at a high RPM at say 7500rpm and with it at the 2 step limiter the engine should make enough power so that the revs dont drop. it will just load the drivetrain and motor up more but the RPMs will still be the same. I think you arent loading it enough so when you let the clutch out all the way, there is still too much of an increase in HP too fast so the drive train gets shocked.
If you have real drag slicks, you should be able to preload the car enough to actually start to wrinkle the tires a lot so that everyone watching can see.
i totally agree. like i was saying im not pre loading it hard enough. i guess it just takes some practice to get it right. im loading it enough to where it would pull me forward with out the e brake but im going to go even harder next time, enough to get the car to squat a little.
im just going to sit at the light till i get it where it feels right and go, im not even going to pay attention to the rt or the lights till i get this right.
