I normally run 8-10 psi max cold tire and goes to 10-12 hot which usually nets 1.6-1.8 60 ft..Also a trick is i use is run 8-psi on one tire and 9 psi on other cold and that's where the car is at its best, i got low 1.6 60 ft .You might not trap 105-107 mph with that psi but you run way faster times .I never had axel problems with that psi Raxels or oem...

wow thats crazy low, i would bog like a mo fo if i dropped it that low. how high are you launching with the low of psi? and i dont know really from testing this, but i didnt think the psi should change the traps, because the slicks should inflate and grow when you up to speed, so not changing the dia.think there is any truth to that

Is it possible your suspension geometry is putting your axles at a bad angle? What is your setup like up front? Maybe its just the brutal launching technique, I dunno but least you are lunching axles and not gearboxes.

oh and since I haven't posted on this thread yet... looks good man.

yea last year the car was a lot lower and i was wondering the same thing, but now there pretty level and no change. i think its just revs thats so hard on the axles. im trying to preload the car, but ill have to preload it even harder, i just hate to think of what its doing to the clutch.

On our turbo cars launching at about 7000rpm on a 2 step we will see about 8-10psi boost by itself. usually I will preload the clutch ( twin disk) to load the motor and it will build to about 20-22psi when launching.

We do the same with our NA cars. You should b able to preload the car at a high RPM at say 7500rpm and with it at the 2 step limiter the engine should make enough power so that the revs dont drop. it will just load the drivetrain and motor up more but the RPMs will still be the same. I think you arent loading it enough so when you let the clutch out all the way, there is still too much of an increase in HP too fast so the drive train gets shocked.

If you have real drag slicks, you should be able to preload the car enough to actually start to wrinkle the tires a lot so that everyone watching can see.
