Gas Consumption - barely 300km
Good Day,

That is about what I get when I squeeze hard. 300-320km. If I baby the car (no vvl) I will get 450km.

My car runs more on the rich side - AFR is about 12.8 - 13.2 throughtout most of the band.

90 octane.

Peace

I use to get 370km out of 40 liters. A mix of highway and city, Might want to check your 02 sensor see if it's messed up.

okay...my 02 sensor is not hooked up...perhaps this is why im getting poor gas consumption?

If your ECU uses closed loop feedback settings in the fuel map (as the OEM ECU does) then the O2 sensor is critical to good fuel economy. The O2 sensor allows the ECU to keep your mixture around 14.7 under light loads (most of the fuel map).

what will the voltage output seen on a scanner if the O2 was disconnected? i'm getting 0.30V. why?

i would hook the o2 up, like previous poster said if you dont have the 02 you may not be getting out of the closed loop into your normal air fuel readings causing you to run abnormally rich. most stock appliactions will run into alot of issues if you dont have the o2 sensor reading. both with running, idleing, and air fuel mixtures

maybe your sensor is bad. The voltage should be moving around with it connected.
