The car was never Dynoed with the 2" collector that the OBX came with...
The very first time this car was dynoed with the SR20VE it put down 167whp and it has been improving since then with the same header.... until now no major improvement from the header... But you have to test to know...

BTW the OBX header its not = to SSAC its more like an exact replica of the HS GenV at least as far as specs of the pipes...

Thanks -- Macakin is running SR16VE cams and 4800 RPM switch over. It looks to me like you might get even more mid range by switching over a little earlier. You might try it out if you get on the dyno again.

We did, It was at 4600 but it was making a dip on the powerband

it matters if the runs weren't done on the same day

have a custom set of of headers based on the 20v design in my hands now (thanks to Kiwi-Japie), will hopefully have them bolted up and re-tuned later this week.

I'll be watching this with much interest.

probably could be neater around the collector etc, but sometimes the best performing stuff aint pretty!
